Hey hey hey!...

So I'm still at Davidson waiting on visitors...it's been a great time...i like the people here and it's a great area...the first group leaves on Saturday...still can't figure out how i feel about that because i love my girls but i'm ready for more...i get a 4.5 day break during this upcoming week so that's a perfect time to visit...most of the staff is leaving but i'm welcoming the solitude and absolute freedom...i think i may drive to charleston one day, visit the "beach" at the lake, maybe do some good shopping...and i don't mind doing alone...i was listening to india arie earlier today and in her song "private party," she says, "sometimes i'm alone but never lonely..." that's how i feel...i love being around people but i appreciate my aloneness sometimes...

it's lunch time!

These xanga entries are getting fewer and farther in between...i don't mean to do that; i just sort of get busy and then remember that i have this account...but anyways, for those of you who don't know, i am living/working in Charlotte right now...for lack of better words, i am having an interesting time so far...that is a positive interesting, not negative...the kids arrived here yesterday and they are so different then most of the kids i've met who are 12-14 years old...this is definitely becoming a learning experience for me...i work with some great people and i'm hoping i can still say that throughout the whole 6 weeks...the only thing that's been so off this week is my sleep schedule...getting good sleep is proving itself to be difficult and that was BEFORE the kids got here...and now that they're here, my energy is waning and my eyes are saggy...makeup was great coverage yesterday but i won't be able to put that on everyday...but anyways, i have to go get my girls ready for breakfast...have a great day!

Hey hey hey! I am here! Omg, it has been a REALLY busy semester...I certainly got over that boredom I talked about a few months ago...a lot of stuff has been going on, some good and some bad, but mostly spiritual stuff...and that always seems to prove itself difficult, especially when you're unwilling to move or have no clue what's happening...I will be home on the 19th, which seems like it's forever away, but the theme of my semester has been "Time Flies"...now, there is no way that i can sit here and give you a rundown of everything so all I'm asking you to do is to believe for me and pray for me...I need to see some things move out of my way...

I'll be seeing you...

So a few weeks ago, i attempted to pin curl my hair like my grandma does every night...here are the results:

Thank God for hair pins! It was like that for 4 days at least...I walked around telling people i was going to a formal when really i had just jacked up my hair...I'm going to a formal with my brother on thursday, however, and i'm going to try to attempt to recreate this...I think it'll look good at a real formal...
